Salha Spice Baharat is a premium traditional Iraqi blend of 8 spices. Baharat are the key ingredient to preparing a fragrant and delicious Tehbeet, the traditional Iraqi Sabbath Meal of stuffed chicken and rice cooked overnight on a low fire or in a tannour (oven) resulting in extremely tender, fall-of-the-bone chicken and moist rice.

A recipe will be included to prepare Tehbeet in an electric slow cooker, on the stovetop and in the oven, as well as a vegetarian version. The main ingredients are Cardamom, Coriander, Ceylon Cinnamon, Black Pepper, Rose Petals and three more spices. All you need to add is salt. 

You can use Baharat to season meat, chicken, fish, and vegetables and to flavor stews or rice. You will love floral, warm, and slightly sweet aroma with woody undertones. It is not spicy.
